A3 Whisky Oak Frame
Hand crafted and made to order, these beautiful sleek design oak frames are made using retired whisky oak.
These retired cask pieces have been sourced from our local cooperage in the Highlands of Scotland where the distilleries in the area send their casks for repair.
No two frames will ever be the same and each are completely unique due to the grain in the wood. We leave in the small imperfections (dowel joins, small scorch marks) as we feel it’s a part of the wood’s story.
However, what you will receive is similar to what you see in the photos, a beautiful frame unique to you.
Each frame is made to order, simply choose with or without mat/mount board and hanging orientation (landscape or portrait).
All frames comes with an adjustable table stand. All frames are treated with a 100% eco friendly, natural non-toxic oil bringing out the natural beauty of the oak. No stain is used.

All frames have glass fronts and hardboard backing. Mat/mount board optional.

Standard A3 - No mount
With Mount/Mat board A3 fits A4 - 297mm(w) x 420mm (h)
Please note, these are the internal frame/mat/mount dimensions i.e. the size of print that will fit within the frame/mat/mount.
Please be aware that the frame will slightly overlap the edges of your image/artwork.
Frame border size (moulding) approx. 10-15mm approx. Depth approx 27mm (measurements are approx due to the nature of using reclaimed oak).
PROCESSING TIMES: Average processing time is 5 days. However please check our main page for announcements as this can vary.
POSTAGE: UK orders 3-5 days approx, Royal Mail may experience slight delays due to Covid restrictions.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING NOTICE: Under normal conditions, turnaround is 7-9 days however due to COVID restrictions in many destination countries, allow a window of 4-6 weeks minimum. Thank you for your understanding during this time.
