Hexagonal Whisky Oak Coasters with Copper detail - Set of 4

Truly handmade, these hexagonal coasters are made from retired Whisky barrel oak. These retired cask pieces have been sourced from our local cooperage in the Highlands of Scotland where the distilleries in the area send their casks for repair.

No two sets of coasters will ever be the same and are completely unique due to the variations in the wood grain. Some will have a slightly darker or lighter hue depending on how much the cask has been charred/scorched or what it has been used to age (sherry, bourbon etc) and how much stain for the dark ones the oak will “take”.

We like these small differences as we feel it's part of the woods story. However what you will receive will be very similar to what you see in the photos. Available in “Natural” or “Dark” with copper accent or plain “Dark”

DIMENSIONS: Approx 10cm across, 7-9mm thick with a copper accent and are treated with an eco wood satin varnish.

PROCESSING TIMES: 2 Days unless otherwise specified
